Compiled by Jane Efagwu
Big Brother Naija is Nigeria’s leading reality show at the moment. Formally and formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, the show selects eligible contestants from around the green and white nation and they are put in a house. In this house, the housemates experience various nominations, evictions, tasks and games etc. They also go through different rounds of inter-personal relationships as game strategies come to play and all these come together to lead ultimately to the winning of a grand star prize.
This year the grand star prize up for grabs is nothing less than 25 million naira cash and a brand new SUV. Hosted by ex-housemate of season one, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show was launched with 12 contestants and after a rollercoaster of nominations, evictions and even fake housemates, it is down to just five housemates contending for the final prize. The five housemates are Bisola, Tboss, Efe, Marvis and Debby Rise. Let’s check out these fantastic five:

She is currently the last head of house in the BBNaija competition, earning her the title of Igwe. As a promising singer, she contested the 2008 edition of the MTN Project Fame competition. Although, she didn’t win, the competition introduced her to producers and directors who she worked with to launch her acting career. Due to some financial strains her family faced, Bisola had to move to a rural community at the tender age of eight where she stayed with her cousins who sold make-up. Currently studying Business Management at National Open University Nigeria (NOUN), she also works as a presenter for WFM 91.7 which the first Nigerian radio station for women and children. Despite the fact that she also had her own share of on-screen romance with ex-fellow housemate, Miyonse, she is not in any relationship at the moment. She has a strong fan base with the trending hash tag #BossNation in support of the light-skinned housemate. By popular belief, Tboss is Big Brother’s favorite in the housemate in the house. She is not in any relationship at the moment. She reportedly battled loneliness during her primary school days and she found it difficult to make friends. She also grew up with the typical “strict father” syndrome as her father was a no-nonsense man. This did not stop her love piercings and tattoos. Her mother, on the hand, is a sweet and gentle woman. She did a little part of her tertiary education in the University of Lagos before moving to Romania to complete it. She has survived evictions countless times and she is one of the strongest competitors in the game.

Recently, his loyal fans and supporters took to the streets in a campaign to show their undying love and support for the Warri boy. A graduate of Economics, Efe enjoys cooking and he is well known for his easy going way of life in the house. Despite his nose picking habits, Efe is the last man standing in the house. He is also the housemate who has won the head of house task twice and the Payporte arena games the highest number of times.
MARVIS

She is a graduate of Mass Communication, Madonna University. The reality star is a huge fan of basketball hence her reasons for being a tomboy. Marvis is not in any relationship at the moment as her last relationship ended as a result of the fact that it was long distance and there were a lot of quarrels. As much as she is a tomboy, she has never engaged in any physical fights as she prefers to engage herself in verbal confrontations. Just like the rest of the fantastic five, she has managed to stay in the house till the end meaning she has a strong fan base behind her always.
Who carts away the dream N25 million prize money and all the goodies that come with it? The answer is contained in an envelope that will be made public on Sunday. Is it Efe, Bisola, Marvis, Tboss or Debie Rise? Only Sunday will tell.
